Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik divorced his wife Ayesha Siddiqui on Wednesday after being pressurised by their community in Hyderabad.
Briefing a media gathering in the afternoon Ayesha's mother Farisa Siddiqui said, "I am happy about my daughter. I am very happy that the settlement has been reached. We have withdrawn the FIR against Shoaib."
Finally, the obstacle has removed by Shoaib Malik himself, in the way of Sania Mirza & Shoaib. Now the wedding bells of Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik and Indian tennis player Sania Mirza will ring peacefully.

The whole controversy started when Shoaib Malik announced that he and Sania are getting married. Ayesha Siddiqui had filed a police case against Shoaib Malik that he had married her in 2002; and then refused to accept her. After that a wave of controversies arrived in the life of Shoaib and he faced many problems in his marriage with Sania Mirza. At first, Shoaib denied the claims, but admitted it later that it was a 'telephone nikah' that he had been forced into. The situation got worst when Shoaib went to India, and police took over Shoaib's passport and said he couldn't travel out of India until the matter was resolved.

But now the hurdles have finally ended. Shoaib Malik has divorced Ayesha Siddiqui and right after the divorce, the police case against him has been dropped. Subsequently, Ayesha's family corroborated the divorce, and they are now satisfied with the decision.

Presently, after the resolution of all the disputes & hindrances out of the way, Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza will get married as scheduled on April 15.

Shoaib Malik has divorced his first wife Ayesha Siddiqui on Wednesday while the Ayesha Siddiqui family withdrew its case against the cricketer in return giving the signals to the public of a settlement between the two. Siddiqui family lawyer Barrister Farooq Hassan .confirmed the news and said that the settlement took place amicably.Indian media Shoaib Malik handed over the divorce papers to the police after signing it. Meanwhile, the Ayesha Siddiqui family held a press conference to confirm the news and other details to the media. Afterwards, they withdrew the case against Shoaib Malik as per the settlement....
